🔄 Switching from SalonBiz to salonMonster

Moving your data from SalonBiz? Follow the steps below to export the files we’ll need.

Please export all reports as CSV or Excel files whenever possible.

👥 Exporting Client Information

1. Select Communications from the left-hand panel.
2. Navigate to Campaigns → Featured → All Clients.
3. Click Start, then choose Download List.
4. Save the file in CSV or Excel format.

⚠️ Important: This report does not include client notes.

If you would like us to import client notes, please provide them separately or contact SalonBiz support to request a custom export.

📅 Exporting Upcoming Appointments

1. Select Book from the side panel.

2. Click the three dots (…) and choose Appointment Log.

   Check the following fields:

   
   
   • Client
   • Service Date & Time

   • Service Staff (select the appropriate employee name)

     
     
3. Set the date range to include all future bookings (up to one fiscal year).
4. Click Search.
5. Select Print, then save the file as a PDF.

⚠️ Important: This report does not include appointment notes.

If you need those imported, please export as a CSV or Excel file separately along with the clients name and email address or request a custom report from SalonBiz support.

🛍 Exporting Product Inventory

1. Go to Reports → Product Detailed List.
2. Select Run Reports.
3. Choose Export to Excel and save the file.

💇‍♀️ Exporting Services & Pricing

1. Go to Reports → Service List.
2. Select Run Reports.
3. Choose Export to Excel and save the file.

⚠️ Note: This report does not include service processing times or service descriptions. We cannot import Processing time. But once it is all imported, if you change each service to have processing time in salonMonster and then let us know, we can adjust all of the appointments on the calendar to reflect this change.

📤 Send Us Your Files

Once you’ve exported your reports:

1. Attach the files to an email and send them to [email protected]
2. Or upload them directly in your conversation with our support team.

✅ That’s it! Once we receive your SalonBiz exports, we’ll migrate your data into salonMonster and let you know as soon as your account is ready.
