✂️ Setting Up Services

This guide will show you how to create and customize services in your salonMonster account.

🪜 Follow These Steps

1. From the Menu ☰ , select Settings .

2. Select Services .

3. (Optional) Create a new Category by tapping + New Category , giving it a name (e.g., “Haircuts”), and selecting Save .

4. Tap + New Service to create a service.

5. Enter a Service Name (e.g., “New Haircut”).

6. Add a Description (optional but recommended).

7. Decide how prices display:

   • Show a fixed price (e.g., “$75.00”), or

   • Show “Starting at” if the price may vary.

   • Assign which staff can provide the service.

   • If only you provide it, toggle the option for yourself.

   • If you have multiple staff, you can set different prices and durations for each.

   • Set the Service Duration :

   • Use a simple duration (e.g., 60 minutes), or

   • Use a split appointment (bookback) with 3 parts:

     • Start Duration (e.g., applying color)

     • Processing Duration (time available for other bookings)

     • Finishing Duration (e.g., rinsing and cutting)

     • Assign the service to a Category .

8. Select Save .

✅ After saving, your new service will appear under its category (e.g., “Haircuts”) and will be ready to book.
