💵 Checking Out a Sale

Here’s how to check out a sale in salonMonster. You can add services or products, collect payment, and provide a receipt — all in just a few steps.


🪜 Follow These Steps

  1. Choose an appointment (or use the Sales tab and create a walk-in sale)

From your calendar, select the appointment you’d like to check out.

  1. Review and add services

You’ll see the appointment details.

Add any extra services, products, or even another appointment if needed.

  1. Proceed to payment

Click Continue to move to the payment screen.

  1. Add a tip (optional)

Enter a tip here if using an external terminal.

If you’re using an integrated card reader, the tip prompt will appear on the reader instead.

  1. Select payment method

Click Charge or Add Payment and choose from:

Card entry – manually enter card details.

Cash payment – record the cash received.

External payment – track payments made outside salonMonster (e.g., another terminal).

  1. Finalize the transaction

If paying with cash, click Save to complete the sale.

You’ll see a breakdown of the receipt details.

  1. Send or print receipt

Choose to send the receipt electronically (email/text) or print a copy.

  1. Complete checkout

Click Send to deliver the receipt, or select No thanks to finish without sending.


✅ That’s it! You’ve successfully checked out a sale and provided your customer with a receipt.
