🗑️ Deleting a Tax

If you no longer need a tax in salonMonster, you can remove it from your account.

👉 How to Do It

1. Open the Menu ☰ and select Settings .

2. Select Point of Sale .

3. Select Taxes .

4. From the list, choose the tax you want to remove.

5. Tap Delete .

6. Select Save.

✅ Best Practices

• Check local regulations — Make sure deleting the tax won’t affect compliance in your region.

• Keep a record — Export or note down the old tax rate before deleting, in case you need it for accounting or audits.

• Consider editing instead — If the tax rate just changed, you can update it instead of deleting.

• Inform your team — Let staff know about changes so they charge the correct amounts.

✨ Once deleted, the tax will no longer apply to sales in salonMonster.
