💸Adding a Discount to a Sale

In salonMonster, discounts are applied to individual products and services rather than to the entire sale ticket. This gives you more flexibility when discounting only specific items during checkout.

✨How to Add a Discount

1. Open the checkout window for your client.
2. Select the product, service or gift card you would like to discount.
3. In the item pop-up window, select Add Discount.
4. Choose the discount you would like to apply from the list of available discounts.
5. The discount will then be applied to that specific line item.

You can repeat these same steps for any additional products or services in the checkout window.

❓Don’t See the Discount You Need?

If a discount does not appear as an option, it means that a discount has not yet been created in your salonMonster settings.

You will first need to add the discount to your system before it can be applied during checkout.
