Select the Appointment: Navigate to the appointment you wish to check out on your salonMonster calendar.
Initiate Checkout: Select the chosen appointment to open its details. Select the “Checkout” button to proceed with the transaction.
Handle Payment: If your card reader is not connected, you will see a notification like “Card reader not connected.”
Choose the method of payment:
Cash: Enter the amount of cash received.
External Payment: Track payments made through external means (e.g., online transfer, payment apps and other payment processors).
If applicable, enter the tip amount before finalizing the payment.
Save the Transaction: Click on the “Save” button to record the payment. Ensure the sale is closed out and tracked in your system.
Review Sales: Remember that the total sales reported will include transactions processed without the payment terminal. Run sales reports for individual service providers to accurately track their transactions.
