We can import your Milano data so you don't have to start from scratch! This guide will show you how to easily export your data from Milano.

We can import your Milano data so you don't have to start from scratch! This guide will show you how to easily export your data from Milano.


We can import from Milano:

  • Clients

  • Products

  • Services

  • Staff

  • Bookings

To do this we just need you to export your data from Milano and send it through to us. We'll take care of the rest đŸȘ„

To export your clients:

  • Go to “Main menu”

  • Go to “reports”

  • In reports go to “Menu”

  • Select “Client list”

  • It seems you have to pick some demographics in order to make this work: we usually set it to "last visit date before next year"

  • Click on the “interactive button”: this will show more columns

  • Click “Print” > “Export” > “Text (Comma)”

To export your products:

  • Go to “Main menu”

  • Go to “reports”

  • Go to “menu”

  • Go to “listings”

  • Go to "product”

  • Go to retail

  • Select all codes in from & to (should be selected by default)

  • Click “Print” > “Export” > “Text (Comma)”

To export your services:

  • Go to “Main menu”

  • Go to “reports”

  • Go to “menu”

  • Go to “listings”

  • Go to “service”

  • Click “Print” > “Export” > “Text (Comma)”

To export your staff:

  • Go to “Main menu”

  • Go to “reports”

  • Go to “menu”

  • Go to “listings”

  • Go to “staff”

  • Click “Print” > “Export” > “Text (Comma)”

To export your bookings:

  • Go to “Main menu” > “appointment book"

  • Go to “report” button on right (not reports in the menu)

  • Select “Future bookings” > “All clients”

  • Select a starting date (eg start of this year, we can import your whole history)

  • Click “Print” > “Export” > “Text (Comma)”

To find the exported data

  • Go to Menu > Links “Exported reports”

  • Go to that folder (For example: c:/MilandoDBSSRV/Clients/Data/REPORTS)

  • Copy all the recently exported files and email them to us at [email protected], or ask us for an upload link.

  • Once you've sent through your data, let us know and we'll get onto importing it for you đŸ‘đŸ» 🎉
